Volunteer Coordinator

This enthusiastic and organized person will be responsible for volunteer acquisition, screening, coordination, communication and recognition. This position will work with program managers to determine volunteer needs and plan projects. They will also organize large volunteer initiatives, like Transform Week and Day of Caring, and lead volunteer groups. They should be able to train, mentor, motivate, direct and empower teams. We’re looking for someone who cares about economically challenged people and neighborhoods, is friendly and personable, and has excellent planning and communication skills.

Hours per week: Average of 30
Hourly wage: $16.50 to $20.50 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Cultivate Hope Urban Farm Intern

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in your community? Apply for our summer internships and gain hands-on experience in youth education and urban farming, working with a dedicated nonprofit organization committed to food security, food justice, and empowering local communities. You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, engage with diverse youth, and help create sustainable solutions for food access. Whether you’re interested in education, social justice, or environmental sustainability, this internship will equip you with valuable skills and the chance to contribute to meaningful change in the lives of others.
