Matthew 25 Launches Monthly Potlucks

Join us the first Tuesday of every month.

Enjoying potluck

At Matthew 25, community is at the heart of everything we do—and now, we’ve found a new way to nurture it.

In March, we launched a new tradition: Community Building Potlucks. Held on the first Tuesday of every month, these casual gatherings bring together staff, volunteers, and friends of Matthew 25 to share food, stories, and connection.

The idea is simple: everyone brings a dish, and together we share a meal and time to simply be with one another. No agendas, no presentations—just real conversations, laughter, and the joy of breaking bread together. Whether you’re a Matthew 25 staff member, longtime volunteer or community member, these evenings are an open invitation to deepen relationships and celebrate being together.

Our first potluck in March was a beautiful reminder of the power of food to unite us. Tables were filled with homemade favorites, and the room was filled with warmth, laughter, and connection.Potluck

We’re excited to keep this new tradition going every month and hope it continues to grow. Each potluck will be centered around a reflective theme with the goal of sparking meaningful conversation around important topics such as solidarity, regeneration, and curiosity. So mark your calendar, prep your favorite side dish or dessert, and come hungry—for food and community.

Visit the events calendar on our website or our Facebook events posts to register to bring your favorite dish or find out what others are bringing. Every monthly potluck will have its own sign-up.

When we share a meal, we build something even greater than full stomachs—we build belonging.
