Gifts of Goods or Services
In-Kind Donations
Donating goods or services is a great way to support Matthew 25’s programs. Details about the kinds of donations we accept are below. If you’re interested in donating something not listed, please send us an email or call 319-362-2214 to see if it’s something we can use.
Tools
Tools donated to our Tool Library will be loaned out in the community, used in our Transform Week home repair program, or sold with the proceeds used to support the Tool Library. All power tools need to be in working order, and all battery-powered tools need to come with their batteries and charger. It is much appreciated if any tools donated are first cleaned up.
Please drop off tool donations at the Tool Library (located off the alley behind Matthew 25’s building at 201 3rd Ave SW) during normal Tool Library hours. At this time, we do not have the resources to pick up donations.

Professional Services
Matthew 25 does many home repair and renovation projects throughout the year and we’re always looking for contractors who would like to donate their time and/or materials. We particularly need specialty trades, such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and roofing.
Photographers, videographers, and other communications professionals who are willing to donate their services are also extremely helpful for us.
If you are interested in learning more about how you can donate your professional services, please send us an email or call 319-362-2214.
Vehicles
Matthew 25 uses a variety of vehicles to support our programs. If you have a vehicle that runs and is in good condition that you would like to donate, please send us an email or call 319-362-2214.
Other Items
If you have furniture or other items that Matthew 25 does not accept, consider bringing them to Stuff Etc Quality Consignment on Blairs Ferry Road and ask to have them go under Matthew 25’s name. We will receive a portion of the funds from the sale of your items! Items are subject to Stuff Etc’s usual restrictions.
