Where Quality Meets Affordability
Matthew 25 built two beautiful new construction homes on the west side of Cedar Rapids. Built with low maintenance and energy costs in mind, these affordable, sustainable, quality homes feature the following:

- Basement with spacious living room, bedroom, and bathroom
- Open concept kitchen with island
- Quartz countertops and soft-close hinges on cabinets
- Contemporary lighting
- Large front porch
- Lots of windows and natural light
- Parking pad (no garage)

- Energy Star appliances
Both of these single-family new construction homes were marked down significantly with existing subsidies, and Neighborhood Finance Corporation (NFC) had additional homebuyer subsidy, grant and loan opportunities. Leveraging available subsidies, the selling price of these homes was further reduced. Homebuyers had to make 80% or less than area median income and plan to live in the home to purchase.
Through the construction of these homes, we wanted to fulfill the aspirations of first-time homebuyers on the path to becoming homeowners.
