DESCRIPTION:If you are interested in joining a conversation with curious and open-minded individuals\, join us for Community Conversation on the third Wednesday of each month. No need to prepare for or have any special knowledge\, we welcome you to join us and share your own thoughts and feelings. \nMatthew 25 and a team of dedicated volunteers host monthly Community Conversations at the Groundswell Event Space\, 201 Third Ave. SW. The theme changes monthly\, but each time\, the conversations are rich and eye-opening for participants. The evening is structured\, so everybody gets a chance to talk. Most of the time is spent in smaller groups\, where it’s easy to share and get to know each other. And if you’re not a talker\, you are always welcome to just listen. \nWhy do we do this? Because it’s really important—but also rare these days—to spend face-to-face time with people you don’t know very well. Each time we host this event\, we learn something or see the world from a different perspective. \nA strong community doesn’t just happen. It’s built by people spending time together\, learning from one another and deepening relationships. That fabric becomes even stronger if it’s built among people from diverse groups. \nJoin this free event if you’d like to meet new people\, have meaningful\, respectful conversations\, and learn through listening. No RSVP required.
